"Echo" did extremely well in the show ring as a puppy
- winning Best Puppy in Show at Thame Country Show aged just 6 months and
Winslow Show at 9 months old. In 2004 she was placed 1st in
Special Yearling at the NIS Show in Oldham. In 2005 she wasn't
shown, as she took a year out to have a superb litter of puppies.
In 2006 "Echo" was Best in Show at the NIS Essex Show and Reserve Best
in Show at the NIS Oldham Show, where she was also Best Brood Bitch.
She was placed Best in Show at numerous Companion Dog Shows. In
2007 she was Best in Show and Best Brood Bitch at TIDA Southport Show
and Reserve Best in Show and Best Brood Bitch at TIDA Dorset Show.
She has produced some fantastic litters and has now been retired from
breeding. Her daughter "Wicca", grandaughter "Tundra" and
great grandaughter "Rune" are following in her footsteps and are a fitting legacy for this wonderful bitch.
"Echo" is enjoying her retirement but is still a force to be reckoned
with as 'second in command', in her Beta role within the pack. |

"Echo" was a fighter and for several months bravely
fought the cancer that had invaded her body in 2013. Sadly the
pain was too much and we had to let her go to Rainbow Bridge to join her
lifelong friend "Sky", who had passed six months earlier. "Echo"
was courageous to the end and has left a gaping hole in the pack as well
as my heart. She was a stunning showgirl who won Best in Show or
Reserve Best in Show every time she was shown, as well as Best Brood
Bitch and Best Veteran in later years. She was a loyal and loving
companion who loved life and who took me on an amazing journey
throughout that life. Her memory will live on through the legacy
she left in her her daughter "Wicca", grandaughter "Tundra", great
grandaughter "Rune" and even her great great grandaughter "Charm".
Run Free sweet "Echo" - there will never be another like you xxx I have some beautiful photos taken of "Echo" during her last year that I will add to this page at some point in the future, when her loss isn't so raw. |
